Terms and Conditions of Use
You are about to log on to Inspect, the property inspection management application, managed by the Department of Housing (the department). Before logging on and using Inspect, you must understand and agree to the following terms and conditions of use
Access to Inspect is provided for users who have been nominated and authorised by the delegated approver within a departmentally funded service and provided with an access user name and password from the department.
Unauthorised persons must not obtain access to Inspect or any information contained within it.
Inspect must only be accessed from devices that use encrypted storage such as bitlocker, have lock screens and inactivity timeouts.
Users must not damage, delete or otherwise alter information with malicious intent.
Use of Inspect is logged and may be monitored for management and audit review purposes.
Unauthorised or inappropriate use may lead to action under the service agreement or other contract or engagement with the State of Queensland, through the Department of Housing. Such use may also lead to exemption from Inspect and/or referral to the relevant law enforcement authority for investigation.
Inspect contains personal information. You acknowledge and agree to comply with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and the contents of the relevant service agreement or other contract or agreement with the State of Queensland, through the Department of Housing with respect to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of any personal information within Inspect.
This site uses internet technology. It is your responsibility to meet the technology requirements in relation to use of Inspect. The minimum system requirements are versions 11 or later of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Some features of Inspect (including high-strength 128 bit SSL encryption) may not work if your browser does not meet the minimum system requirements. The technology requirements may vary from time to time.
It is strongly recommended that you have up-to-date anti-virus software installed on any device where Inspect may be accessed.
Your user name and password are confidential information which belongs to the department. You may not disclose or permit any other person to use your user name and password.
You will be solely responsible and liable for any use whatsoever of your user name and password, whether authorised by you or not.
Inspect allows you three (3) attempts to enter your user name and password and one (1) attempt to enter your one-time PIN. After the third failed attempt, you will be denied access to the Inspect. Access can be restored by contacting your Contract Manager or the department's Service Desk during normal working hours.
The department may make changes to Inspect and the terms and conditions anytime and that ongoing use of Inspect constitutes acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
Why does Inspect think I am offline when I am sure that I am online?
It is likely that Inspect is taking a while to detect you are online because your connection is slow or the Inspect server is waking up
If after waiting 15 second Inspect still says you are offline then you can try refreshing the page
What can I do in Inspect if I am offline?
To use Inspect while offline you must have previously been logged in.
Why does Inspect think I am offline when I am sure that I am online?

What can I do in Inspect if I am offline?
If you have already synched inspections to this device then you can start inspecting by using the menu at the top of the screen
